Maggie Myszka, Senior Consultant

Maggie Myszka is an award-winning communications and resource development professional with nearly 20 years of helping nonprofits, agencies, and corporations achieve their missions, visions, and strategic goals.

Myszka served as the Director of Marketing and Communications for Hill Center at the Old Naval Hospital, a vibrant arts, culture, and education organization in a historic Civil War era hospital on Capitol Hill. She was responsible for all areas of marketing and communications: branding, digital marketing, public relations, website development, social media, email marketing, sponsorships, and e-commerce. Myszka prides herself on successfully using a birds eye view of an organization to find the right, most impactful stories to tell, as well as being driven by data in marketing initiatives. As a result, pieces featuring Hill Center have been secured in high profile media outlets such as The Washington Post, CurbedDC, Washingtonian, Washington City Paper, East of the River News, Hill Rag, Capitol Hill Corner, Popville, CNN, C-SPAN, the Pinkline Project, WAMU, DCist, WTOP, WETA, WJLA, WUSA9, NBC4, The Hill, Politico, EaterDC, Ceramics Monthly, and others.

During her time at diverse retail chain T.A. Solberg Company, Myszka launched the corporation's websites, e-commerce, Apple and Droid apps, and social media for multiple banner stores. She also was responsible for public relations and reputation management, print, radio, and digital advertising campaigns, new store launches, and special events.

Additionally, Myszka worked at the Boys & Girls Club of the Wausau Area, an affiliate of the national youth development organization Boys & Girls Clubs of America. She designed and implemented a new resource development strategy that elevated the voices and stories of at-risk youth, built long term personal relationships with donors that resulted in a tripling of annual campaign giving in just one year. She is a graduate of the Advanced Leadership Program of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and The Grantsmanship Program of The Grantsmanship Center.

While attending the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh, where she graduated with a degree in International Studies, Myszka served on the Winnebago County Board of Supervisors and as a member of the Parks & Recreation Committee.
