Walker Irving, SENIOR CONSULTANT

Walker Irving is a senior communications and project management consultant with over fifteen years of experience working with nonprofits, governments, and the private sector. Walker joined Brass Ring Communications in 2016, acting as an essential partner to plan and execute strategies designed to raise clients’ public profiles, reach new audiences, and stay connected with stakeholders and funders. She brings a keen attention to detail to every project she directs, and manages a wide variety of initiatives, from major press announcements, to website redesigns, and social media campaigns. Walker also has extensive experience in conceiving and executing large scale events, conferences, online events, fly-ins and Capitol Hill visits for non-profit organizations, advocacy groups, lawmakers, and Fortune 500 corporations.

Walker worked in Congress for seven years, for Senators Hillary Clinton and Mark Warner. In her roles as Director of Scheduling, she worked directly with senators and senior staff on strategically planning and executing travel and meeting logistics. Walker also worked on the congressional affairs team for Hillary Clinton’s 2008 Presidential Campaign. As Director of Special Events for the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, Walker planned and executed the annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony with over 40,000 fans and 50 Hall of Famers. Most recently she managed outreach for CityHealth, a public health non-profit that coordinated with the 40 largest cities nationwide to promote policies that contribute to residents’ well-being. She holds a Bachelor’s of Political Science from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.
